We are located 3 miles north of Boundary Trails Health Centre - about 10mins outside of Winkler or Morden. Appointment must be set up to see horses.

Plow reins, neck reins, goes off leg pressure.
Confident intermediate rider recommended as he can be a bit unpredictable. Typically easy-going, especially in the arena, but sometimes has big spooks. Lately he's been pretty relaxed inside & outside but needs to be managed a bit more outside.
Has had a history of bucking when pushed into a lope by someone inexperienced that doesn't catch it in time.
Has some mild arthritis in both stifle joints, diagnosed by x-ray. Doesn't cause him any issues at a walk but could be why he resists trot/lope & exhibits some stiffness when worked too hard.
Better in the arena but used to trails/being outside as well, spookier outside.
Can be buddy sour & anxious, typically a bit hard to catch in a bigger area/pasture.
Stands well when tied with other horses but can be anxious alone.
We use a ferrier with a tip table but I anticipate he’d be fine for a traditional farrier, might be a bit anxious.
Easy-keeper.
Has been at Winkler Bible Camp since 2020. He was trained for roping before we got him.
